Three police commissioned officers assigned at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office have been promoted from the rank of major to police lieutenant colonel, following an oath taking and donning of ranks ceremony on September 26 at Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City.

Promoted were Lt. Col. Roberto Indiape Jr., Sagay City police chief, Lt. Col. Jake Barila and Lt. Col. Anthony Grande, all assigned at NOCPPO, police records show.

PBrig. Gen. Leo Francisco, PRO 6 regional director, administered the oathtaking and donning of ranks ceremony of police commissioned officers, whose promotions took effect Sept. 21.

The two other promoted PCOs are PLt. Col. Frankie Gatila of Antique Police Provincial Office and PLt. Col. Juvy Navales of the Iloilo City Police Office.

In a statement issued by PRO 6, Francisco congratulated the newly promoted PCOs, especially their families, for doing their share of sacrifice, and their unconditional love and understanding that played a great role for their loved ones to reach their present ranks.*
