3 towns have no new Covid cases

There are three towns in Negros Occidental with no new coronavirus infections, as of Monday, and these are Don Salvador Benedicto, Hinobaan, and San Enrique, the Provincial Incident Management Team said.

San Carlos City remains with the most number of active cases at 30, followed by Silay and Cadiz with 10 cases each.

The total number of active cases in Negros Occidental also increased to 109, from 93 last week.

Local government units with one active case included EB Magalona, Calatrava, Candoni, Cauayan, Hinigaran, Ilog, Isabela, La Carlota City, Moises Padilla, and Pulupandan, the PIMT records showed. Other LGUs with active cases in single digit are Bago City, Binalbagan, Pontevedra, and Valladolid – 2 each, Escalante City, La Castellana, Manapla, Sagay, and Victorias – 3 each, Himamaylan, Kabankalan, Talisay, and Murcia – 4 each, and Toboso and Sipalay – 5 each.*
