The provincial government of Negros Occidental and highly-urbanized Bacolod City received yesterday a total of 30,000 doses of Sinovac vaccine from the Department of Health.
Both the province and Bacolod will have a share of 15,000 doses.
The 20 boxes of vaccines, delivered by the Philippine Airlines, through a cargo flight, arrived 11:47 a.m. yesterday at the Bacolod-Silay Airport.
Bacolod-Silay Airport manager Percy Malonesio supervised the unloading of the boxes of vaccines from the aircraft to the waiting cold storage vans, for delivery to the cold storage facilities of the province and Bacolod City.*
