The 30th Pintaflores Festival of San Carlos City dazzled spectators after two years of rest due to the pandemic.

Pintaflores dancers of six local contingents in the Pintaflores Festival streetdancing and ritual competition flaunted their colorful costumes during the street dance that started from the city auditorium to the city hall grounds on November 5.

Thousands of onlookers gathered along the streets to witness the event where sound systems were placed to pump up the festivities.

One of the spectators, Oscar Fernandez from Bacolod City, said that the Pintaflores Festival is one of a kind and also has its unique style just like the MassKara Festival.

He added that the unique costumes of the dancers depicting the painted bodies of tribesmen in colorful flower designs is what makes it different from other cultural festivals.
