Bacolod City had 380 new COVID-19 cases during the weekend and one death, keeping its first place ranking in Western Visayas, the Department of Health reported yesterday.
Negros Occidental had 89 new cases, also keeping its second place ranking, the DOH added.
The DOH said part of the results was from the Timeout Weekend mass testing held in Bacolod and Negros Occidental recently.
As of yesterday, Bacolod City had 1,846 COVID-19 positive cases and 27 deaths, while Negros Occidental had 1,452 cases and 8 deaths.
Ranked third was Iloilo City with 1,336 COVID-19 cases, followed by Iloilo province with 915, Capiz – 209, Guimaras – 92, Antique – 41, and Aklan – 31.*
