The apprehension of four suspects, including a businesswoman on March 29 and 30, in a series of buy bust operations in Negros Occidental, led to the recovery of three firearms and suspected shabu worth P737,800.
The arrest of a certain Jason on Sunday during a buy bust operation conducted by the PNP Drug Enforcement Unit at Purok San Roque 2, Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City, led to the confiscation of about 56 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P380,800.
A joint operation of the local police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency led to the apprehension of a certain Crisanto at Purok Minoro, Barangay Amayco, in Murcia on March 29.
His arrest yielded more or less 50 grams of suspected shabu valued at P340,000, marked money of P500, and a 9mm revolver with five ammunition.
The implementation of a search warrant for violation of RA 10591 at Purok Santan in Barangay Tampalon, Kabankalan City, led to the arrest of a 50-year-old farmer, following the recovery of a Rock Island Armory caliber .45 pistol with three magazines containing 21 ammunition, and a caliber .22 revolver with five ammunition.
The apprehension of a 48-year-old businesswoman in Brgy. Cadiz Viejo, Cadiz City, also on Saturday, led to the seizure of about 2.5 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P17,000 and P500 in marked money.
All the arrested suspects are now locked up in the custodial facilities of Cadiz City, Murcia, Kabankalan City Police Stations, and the Bacolod City Police Office.*
