The Police Regional Office – Negros Island Region honored four of its personnel on May 4 at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr., Bacolod City, in recognition of their focused, intelligence-driven operations which led to the capture of two most wanted fugitives from across the region.
PBrig. Gen. Arnold Thomas Ibay, regional police director of Negros Island Region, and La Castellana Vice Mayor Alme Rhummyla Nicor-Mangilimutan, who was the guest of honor and speaker during the traditional flag raising ceremony, led the awarding rites recognizing the courage and dedication of the four police personnel.
Awarded with Medalya ng Kagalingan for their outstanding performance were PCapt. Limdsey Caraballe, PSSg Reymond Leyson, PLt. Merlyndo Bulandres, and PEMS Jovanie de Lara.
In a statement, the PRO-NIR said it will continue to intensify its campaign against fugitives, reinforcing its mandate to uphold the rule of law and protect the public.*
