A buy-bust operation on June 3 at Purok 1 in Brgy. Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, led to the arrest of four drug suspects and the recovery of an estimated P204,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Nabbed were the suspects, identified by the Himamaylan City police as Eddie Oliverio Jr., Richard Sanico, Rolex dela Cruz and Felicisio Laranio Jr.
The police recovered an estimated 30 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P204,000, marked money of P1,000, and P660 in cash.
The arrested suspects were brought to the PNP Crime Laboratory for drug testing, along with the seized items for laboratory examinations.
Sonny Gaytero, 48-year-old laborer, was also apprehended by the police, for creating alarm and scandal, on Saturday, in Brgy. Batuan, La Carlota City.
The arrest of Gaytero also yielded a homemade 12-gauge shotgun with one live ammunition.*
