Four drug suspects were nabbed by the police in separate buy bust operations on October 21 in Negros Occidental, yielding P17,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Arrested during a buy bust operation at Purok 2, Brgy. Isio, Cauayan, Negros Occidental, were Mark Anthony Borres, 28, Ian and Shirley Cornal, all residents of Brgy. Binicuil, Kabankalan City.
The apprehension of three drug suspects yielded 1.7 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P10,200, P600 in marked money and P1,529 in cash, according to police chief Maj. Gary Alan Resuma.
Also nabbed in another buy bust operation in Brgy. Zone 3, Talisay City, was Ariel Granada, a fisherman, whose apprehension yielded an estimated one gram of suspected shabu with a market value of P6,800, P500 in marked money and P170 in cash.
The four arrested drug suspects are now locked up in jail, and face charges for violation of RA 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.*
