Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) arrested four individuals, including two high-value targets, in a series of anti-illegal drug operations from Saturday evening to early Sunday morning, seizing a combined total of 40 grams of suspected shabu valued at over P270,000.
The largest seizure occurred on Saturday evening, when the Police Station 8 Drug Enforcement Team arrested two individuals at 7:45 p.m. at Purok Crossing Otso, Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City.
The arrested suspects, both listed as high-value individuals by the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council, were identified as Lucil Antolo alias “Migz,” 56, and Marlon Tanilon, 53, both residents of the same area.
Authorities recovered 26 grams of suspected shabu from the pair, estimated to be worth P176,800.
The operations extended to the police arresting two street-level individuals (SLI) in different barangays in Bacolod.
Police Station 6 arrested Ramil Aungon, 27, a newly identified SLI, at 4:48 p.m. on Saturday at Purok BM, Barangay Taculing.
Police recovered 9 sachets of suspected shabu from Aungon, with an estimated weight of 4 grams valued at P28,000.
Moreover, the operation of the Police Station 1 led to the seizure of 38-year-old John Raluto, alias ‘JanJan,’ at 1:50 a.m. on Sunday, at Purok Cadena De Amor, Barangay 29.
Raluto, who is also listed as a SLI, yielded six sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 10 grams, with a total value of P68,000.
All four suspects are currently detained at their respective police stations and are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
