Another nurse and three patients at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City tested positive for COVID-19, Dr. Julius Drilon, CLMMRH chief, said yesterday.
Earlier, 29 CLMMRH employees identified as eight doctors, four nurses and 17 non-medical support staff also tested positive for the virus.
Drilon said they ran test on 62 more staff members and patients yesterday, and four tested positive.
They will run another 50 COVID-19 tests today, he added,
In a public advisory yesterday, Drilon said the scheduled re-opening of all out-patient department services at the hospital will be deferred, except for patients undergoing chemotherapy.
“We shall give notice as soon as the OPD services will be operational,” he added.
“The hospital management would like to apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. However, the safety and protection of everyone is of paramount importance to us,” Drilon said.*
