Four city and municipal police stations in Negros Occidental were recognized yesterday by the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office for their outstanding accomplishments at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City.
The recipients of certificate of recognitions were city police stations of Kabankalan and Victorias, as well as municipal police stations of Hinigaran and Calatrava.
PCol. Leo Pamittan, NOCPPO acting provincial police director, assisted Atty. Kathrina Trinio-Caña, who was the guest of honor and speaker during the recognition rites in the distribution of awards to the concerned police units.
PLt.Col. Raymond Cruz received the award in behalf of the Kabankalan City Police Station, being adjudged as Top Performing Component Police Station on its OPLAN Maanyag impact project, for constructing the Child-Friendly WCPD One Stop Shop Building and Kid’s Zone inside the police station headquarters.
The Calatrava Police Station headed by PMaj. Lumyaen Lidawan was adjudged as Top Performing Component Municipal Police Station for the construction of Police Station comfort room.
PLt. Col. Joseph Fajardo, officer-in-charge of the Victorias City Police Station and PCapt. Ryan Villasarrio, OIC of Hinigaran Police Station, were both adjudged as top performers in the conduct of Focus Police Operations, including implementation of environmental laws, for the period of January 17 to 23.*
