The arrest of six drug peddlers on September 10 in Negros Occidental, yielded 62 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P489,600, according to the police.
A high value individual drug personality, identified by the only police as a certain Alfred, was apprehended during a buy bust operation on Tuesday in Barangay 3, Bacolod City.
The arrest led to the confiscation of 52 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P353,600.
The police also recovered 15 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P102,000, from four drug suspects who were separately nabbed by the police, in Brgy. Mambulac, Silay City, a report from the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office said.
Another drug peddler was nabbed by the police in Brgy. Mambagaton, Himamaylan City, which also yielded five grams of suspected shabu valued at P34,000.
All the six drug suspects, whose identities were withheld by the police, are now locked up in jail, and are facing charges for violation of RA 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.*
