Policemen have seized assorted guns and about P100,000 worth of suspected shabu from six suspects who were arrested on July 26 and 27 in Negros Occidental.
The buy bust operation on Saturday at Pescadora Street in Barangay Poblacion, San Enrique, led to the arrest of two drug suspects whose identities were withheld by the police, and the confiscation of about two grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P13,600, and P720 in cash, among other items.
Another buy bust operation at Sitio Dapdap in Brgy. Lantad, Silay City, also led to the apprehension of a 31-year-old woman, whose identity was also withheld by the police, and the seizure of 13 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P88,400, and marked money of P2,800.
The apprehension of two more drug suspects in Escalante City and Calatrava, also yielded 23 sachets of suspected shabu with a market value of about 5,000, and P1,000 in marked money.
On the other hand, the arrest of two laborers who were creating alarm and scandal, at Purok EDC in Brgy. Mailum, Bago City, yielded a caliber .38 revolver with four ammunition, a homemade 12-gauge shotgun with ammunition, an improvised gun and a knife.
All the six arrested suspects are currently locked up in jail.*
