Policemen seized on Tuesday an estimated P118,000 worth of suspected shabu from seven drug suspects they arrested in Negros Occidental.
Of the seven arrested suspects, three are laborers, two are jobless persons, and a pedicab and a tricycle driver, according to the police.
A total of 23 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P118,270, was recovered by the police from the seven drug suspects, who were separately arrested in the cities of Silay, Himamaylan, and Cadiz, as well as the municipalities of Pontevedra, Toboso, Ilog, and Cauayan, Negros Occidental.
On the other hand, 14 wanted persons were also arrested by the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office on January 7 and 8.
One of the fugitives was classified by the Police Regional Office 6 as a Most Wanted Person, while the other 13 are Other Wanted Persons.
The 26 other fugitives were arrested by the police in the provinces of Iloilo, Capiz, Aklan, Antique, and Guimaras.
The Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6 also accounted for two other wanted persons.*
