A total of 744 police personnel assigned at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6, Bacolod City Police Office, and its National Support Units, have been promoted.

The simultaneous oath taking, donning, and pinning of ranks were held on Thursday at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. and the Bacolod City Police Office, led by P/Colonels Rainerio de Chavez and Joeresty Coronica, respectively.

Of the promoted police personnel, a total of 425 are assigned at NOCPPO, 217 at the BCPO, 38 from the RMFB-6, PNP Maritime Group – 6, PNP Aviation Group – 4, and two each from the Anti Kidnapping Group and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.

Coronica reminded the newly promoted personnel that a higher rank entails greater expectations, heightened duties, and more demanding challenges.

He stressed that output and performance must elevate to match the new level of accountability that the rank symbolizes.

Coronica also encouraged them to embrace new roles, step beyond their comfort zones, and be prepared for potential reassignments – crucial steps in shaping their leadership skills and advancing their professional growth.*
