The third batch of establishments found compliant with minimum public health standards received their Safety Seal Certificates from the Bacolod City Government Wednesday.
These include PanAsiatic Solutions, Jollibee (CyberCenter), Just Gold (SM City), Jollibee (Gatuslao), Ysa Aesthetics and Wellness (Ayala Malls Capitol Central), Speedo (Ayala Malls), Healthy Options (Ayala Malls), Greenwich (Ayala Malls), and Jollibee (Ayala Malls), Safety Seal Committee (SSC) chair Stela Rose Rayos said.
These nine business establishments – like those that received the Safety Seal before them – were commended by Mayor Evelio Leonardia for doing their part in the fight against Covid-19.
The Safety Seal Certification Program was launched to affirm and acknowledge that an establishment or public transportation unit is compliant with minimum public health standards, is using or has integrated StaySafe.ph with its contact-tracing method, and is a holder of the requisite business permits or franchise.
Those awarded with the Safety Seal will be permitted to offer an additional 10-percent onsite capacity beyond the prescribed capacity percentage, as per IATF Resolution No. 127-A series of 2021.
Only business establishments with valid Mayor’s Permits (2021) are eligible to apply for a Safety Seal Certificate, Rayos said.
A total of 169 companies initially applied for the Safety Seal with the City Government. Of the total, 24 have so far qualified, after online verification/calibration and onsite validation led and conducted by the Inspection and Certification Team of the SSC.
Six establishments received their Safety Seals last August 5, followed by seven more on August 27.
Rayos said that two more establishments will be issued similar certificates tomorrow adding that, those who wish to register online may visit the Facebook page of the Bacolod Permits Division.*
