Ninety nine percent of personnel of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) have already been vaccinated, its spokesperson, PLt. Abegael Donasco, announced yesterday.
Of the 2,373-strong NOCPPO personnel, Donasco said 2,338 of them were inoculated. The remaining 38 have comorbidities.
She added that two of the 38 have already signified their intention to be vaccinated.
Since last week, the number of NOCPPO COVID-19 infected personnel remained at three.
Since the start of COVID-19 pandemic, 243 personnel of NOCPPO were tested positive for COVID-19., But 238 of them already recovered, Donasco said.
The PNP Health Service logged two COVID-19 related deaths in Negros Occidental, involving two police personnel.*
