Bacolod visual artist Patty Jane Ku-Ong held her third solo art exhibition and mini fashion show during her birthday at Planta Centro Bacolod on November 3.
Patty is currently the treasurer of the Art Association of Bacolod-Negros. Aside from being a visual artist, she is also a fashion designer, commercial model, and was a former newscaster for TV Patrol Morning Edition, as well as former newscaster for TV Patrol U.S.A.
Her fashion show, showcasing her designs or creations, was directed by Dwight Rosslyn Morana, Jr. Her fashion models included her daughter Pretzel Giana Ong and Alyzza Azurin, among others.
Andrew Lim also rendered a song number during a program hosted by Errol Ledesma.
Joining the celebration were Patty’s husband, Glenn Birch Ong, their son Glen Phillip, and daughters, Pretzel Giana and Patricia Gabrielle Ong. Also present were her mother, Lydia Ku, and siblings, her relatives and close friends, particularly those from the local art community.*
