AAB-N marks 49th year with exhibit

The Art Association of Bacolod-Negros will mark its 49th anniversary with a group art exhibition at the Atrium, North Wing of SM City Bacolod which opens at 10:30 a.m. today.

Guests of honor are Councilor Em Ang, chair of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Committee on History, Culture and Arts; and Councilor Jason Villarosa, chair of the SP Committee on Tourism.

The show, which will run until July 28, will feature the works of 30 AABN artists, namely Alta Vallota, Marj Masangkay, Gigi Villamor, Agustin Chavez, Konica Faustino, Sol Alejandrino, Rodney Martinez, Rose Jemino, Cora Soriano, Jaycee Seran, Bamboo Tonogbanua, Flozard Andrew Gedalanga,  Mei Lonasco, Annabelle Apawan, Ian Valladarez;

AAB, founded by Edgardo “Budot” Lizares, is currently headed by its president, Tey Sevilleno.*
