AIA Philippines (formerly Philam Life) and BPI AIA (formerly BPI-Philam) announced the hosting of the AIA Vitality MassKara Marathon 2023 on October 8 in Bacolod City.
The annual running event features a variety of distances from 5K, 10K, 21K, to 42K. Whether you are an experienced runner or a beginner, there is a race for everyone, a press release from the company said.
The race has been recently accredited as one of the events of the MassKara Festival 2023 and is expecting 1,200 runners from Bacolod and other parts of the country.
“We are excited to be one of the official events of the upcoming MassKara Festival,” said Kats Cajucom, AIA Philippines Head of Health and Wellness.
“For the love of engaging Filipinos in healthy activities, we are happy to take part in an event that will help Bacolodnons live healthier, longer, better lives while enjoying the festivities. It is AIA Vitality’s fourth running event sponsorship for the year after the Cebu Marathon in January, AIA Vitality Cabalen Half Marathon in June, and AIA Vitality Kadayawan Run last August.”
Proceeds of the event will go to Kinabong Elementary School, Heartbeat of the Mission Foundation, and Holy Infant Foundation.*
