Bacolod Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez issued Memorandum no. 243 dated November 25, designating Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran as acting mayor from November 27 to December 2, in view of the former’s travel abroad.
Councilor Jude Thaddeus Sayson presided over the Sangguniang Panlungsod regular session yesterday.
However, since Sayson will be traveling abroad today together with other councilors, Councilor Renecito Novero will serve as acting vice mayor starting today.
It has been reported that the councilors will be joining Benitez to Japan, along with the barangay captains of Bacolod City.*
