Bacolod Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez will be delivering his first state of the city address (SOCA), to be tentatively held on July 1 at the Bacolod City Government Center.
Benitez said that it is during the SOCA where he will be presenting the plans of the city, as well as the vision of his administration which he will spell out for the people to vividly see the preparations of the city towards that goal. This will be supported by images and pictures.
When asked what will be the highlight of his SOCA, the mayor said that seeing the needs of the city, his report will cover so many things under the concept of “live, work, and play.”
Benitez said this will also include programs on health, housing, beautification, peace and order, among others. “All these will come into one direction, one destination so at least, we will know where we are heading.*
