Vice Governor Jose Benito Alonso will serve as the acting governor of Negros Occidental for two weeks, starting from December 20 until January 3 next year.
Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said that he will travel to Singapore for personal reasons during those dates.
Board Member Genaro Alvarez IV will serve as the acting vice governor, according to the executive order issued by Gov. Lacson.
This will ensure continuous and effective delivery of basic and social services, Lacson said.*
