The Alyansa TOGA (Tongson-Gatuslao) in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental led by Mayor Raymund Tongson and Vice Mayor Justin Gatuslao is re- affirming its commitment of support for the coalition of Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson and Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer.

Tongson stressed that the Himamaylan City government “owes the provincial government a lot.”

“The provincial government led by the governor and the vice governor supports Himamaylan City through different projects and programs that benefited our constituents,” the mayor pointed out.

Tongson also clarified the presence of Atty. John Orola, an opponent of Lacson, in a caravan that kicked off the local campaign in the 5th district of Negros Occidental, was organized by Rep. Marilou Arroyo.

“He was a guest of a barangay captain of Brgy. Capt. Cherrie Hope Belarga of Brgy. Su-ay. We didn’t invite him,” Tongson said.

As far as the Alyansa TOGA is concerned, he said “we are supporting for Gov. Lacson and Vice Governor Ferrer as our province’s leaders.”*
