A foreigner was apprehended on Wednesday in Brgy.1 Poblacion, Sagay City, Negros Occidental, by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Bacolod Regional Trial Court Judge Ferdinand Castro, for the crime of sexual assault, police said.
The arrested suspect was identified by the Sagay City police as Jason Spickerman, 55, of New York City, United States of America, presently residing at Purok Mabinuligon, Brgy. Zone 5, Cadiz City.
Judge Castro recommended P200,000 bail for Spickerman, who is now being held at the custodial facility of the Sagay City Police Station.
The police also nabbed Jude Tenorio, alias Gulang, also on July 19, in Hda. San Juan Lacson, Brgy. Dos Hermanas, Talisay City, for the crime of Section 5(B), Article III of RA 7610, or Lascivious Conduct and other Sexual Abuse.
Bacolod RTC Judge Ferdinand Castro, who issued the arrest warrant, has recommended P200,000 bail for Tenorio, who is now under the custody of the Talisay City Police Station.*
