Negrense artist Ronan De los Santos opened his solo exhibition at McCafe, McDonalds The Upper East, Bacolod City Tuesday, which will run for a month.

Titled a “The Smallness of Us,” the exhibit showcases his works in pen and ink, and watercolor.

This body of work presents tiny figures moving through oversized world machines, structures, rituals, and everyday scenes that dwarf the individual, the artist statement said.

By reducing people to a small scale, the works reflect human vulnerability, repetition, and quiet resilience within larger systems. What appears playful from afar reveals, up close, stories of labor, community, belief, and survival.

Through precise pen and ink and fluid watercolor, the series invites viewers to look closely and reflect on how small actions collectively shape the human experience.*
