As the entire Christian community commemorates the burial, passion, death, and resurrection of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ during Holy Week, the apostolic congregation gathered to celebrate His existence.
Approximately 30 Oneness Apostolic Churches across the Visayas region convened at VMA Global College in Barangay Sum-ag, Bacolod City, from April 2 to 5 for the 2nd Apostolic Summit.
The summit drew nearly a thousand apostolics from various organizations, a true testament that no organizational barriers can hinder God’s people from worshiping Him in unity, in Spirit, and in Truth.
Centered on this year’s theme, “Heritage of Faith,” apostolic teachers, parents, and ministers aim to pass their faith and doctrine to the next generation.
As Pastor James Torres of Apostolic Community Central Church, Inc. expressed during the first revival service, the best inheritance our children can receive is our faithfulness to the Word of God.
The four-day event also showcased the God-given talents and biblical knowledge of the children and youth in the church.
This included extemporaneous and impromptu speech competitions focused on apostolic doctrine for the young people’s department.
During the second-day child evangelism seminar, Pastor Gerardo Giel Tamayo reminded the congregation that children should not be seen as distractions but as blessings and an important part of God’s kingdom.
Other preachers who ministered during the event included Pastors Jacob Hodges, Marcus Haithcock, Raymundo Delicano, and Jerry Delicano.
During the last service, Pastor Jerry Delicano of New Life Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, Inc., the lead convenor of the event, delivered a message about preserving the apostolic family.
His message served as both a mandate and a warning. He emphasized that a heritage is not merely something we receive materially but something we must intentionally protect and pass down — the knowledge that comes from God.
At the conclusion of Apostolic Summit 2026, 57 precious souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit, with 10 of them decided to be baptized in Jesus’ Name.
This was considered as one of a kind momentum in an apostolic world, setting aside all organizational barriers and uniting as one in worshiping the one true God.*
