The reopening of the J&L Marañon Art House on March 17, featured the opening reception of “Her Triumph,” an art exhibit by BACHInc. Creatives, in celebration of Women’s Month.
J&L Marañon Art House, located at the side of the Metrodome along Araneta Street, Bacolod City is owned by Jess and Ligaya Marañon, who now live abroad. The three-storey building is filled with huge sculptures of saints and angels, wall murals, as well as life-sized terracotta soldiers, and other bizarre figures like gargoyles, winged flying men, fairies and goblins.
