Bacolod visual artist Joan Honoridez a.k.a. “Joan of Art” opened her 7th solo art exhibition at Artillery Philippines-Bacolod along Makiling Street, Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City, Saturday.
Titled “Rekindled: From Block to Brilliance”, her show, which features beautiful surreal portraits of doe-eyed women she calls her muses, is the first exhibit to be hosted by the art supply shop since it opened last July.
As the founder of the Association of Negros Artists (ANA) in 2013, Honoridez has worn many hats: art activist, painter, mentor, teacher, curator, and author. She has led the charge in championing outdoor mural paintings across Negros province, merging creativity with a mission to beautify the urban landscape.

Her artistic journey has taken her to numerous exhibitions throughout the island, where she played pivotal roles as an art director, founder, member, and administrator in both local and national arts organizations, including ArtPhilippines and the Art Association of the Philippines.
Artillery Philippines Bacolod is owned by Trisha Uy, a manga artist based in Japan.*
