McCafe at McDonald’s The Upper East in Bacolod City is currently hosting a group exhibition for a cause, featuring the works of members of the Negrense Artists Circle Inc. (NACI) for the benefit of typhoon victims.
Titled “Light of Hope”, the show runs from November 28 to January 2026.
Visual artist Doreen Dofitas said it is the commitment of NACI to extend help, so the artists have contributed their works and a certain portion of the profit will be donated to the typhoon victims. Some of the artists will be donating 100 percent of the proceeds to those affected by the typhoon.
The exhibiting artists include Doreen Dofitas, Wara Ichi, Jerrylyn Mangao, Patty Ong, Ronan De los Santos, Sherwynn Cadianza, Sherryann Quivis, Psyche Amor, Julius Añasca, Michelle Ma Belle Corteza, Olive Torres, Chrysee Samillano, Alden Macazar, Christopher Fernandez, Joey Cabiles, Jak Bobby, Leo Carton, and Dynalyn Tan.
Guests of honor at the opening on Nov. 28 were Xz Los Bañez and Queenie Gonzales, McDonald’s The Upper East restaurant manager, and customer experience manager, respectively, and Ellen Abendan, Megaworld township coordinator.*
