Atrezzo SVR defeated Atrezzo ZSR, 100-97 in the first game where SVR jumped out to a strong start and led after one quarter, 31-16. However, ZSR turned up their game in the second half to outscore their opponent, 26-20, in the quarter, to cut the deficit to eleven as they went into the break.
The ZSRs stayed in control through the third and managed to continue their run during the final ten minutes but it was not enough to cover the deficit that they accrued during their poor first quarter.
Tata Javillo and Carlo Chu led the way for Atrezzo SVR and shared the player of the game honors with 21 points apiece. Raffy Canizares followed with 16, while Dirk Dongon totaled 12. Meanwhile, Kim Dimaranan led Atrezzo ZSR with 33 points, Polo Lopingco – 20, and JB Co scored 18.
The other game was between Terramax CVR and Atrezzo RO1 Sport. The CVR team opened the game in an impressive fashion on both ends of the floor, leading to a 27-19 advantage through the first quarter.
However, Atrezzo were able to bounce back in the second quarter, cutting their deficit to just five points 46-41 by halftime. Terramax kept their foot on the gas again as they extended their lead to a sizable 28 points going into the final frame. Given the scoring discrepancy, CVR were able to ensure that the final period would be a formality, on the way to the easy victory with a final score of 105-76 in favor of Terramax CVR.
Nikee Montalvo led Terramax CVR with 32 points and grabbed player of the game honors while Albert Magdato and Michael Deocadiz furnished 12 points each. Oda Tampus supplied 30 points for Atrezzo RO1 Sport, while Marc Jalapa registered 11 and Toffer Co collected 9 points.*
