The University of St. La Salle Bacolod Born 2011 Mixed Football Team dominated the group stage with a 4-0-0 standing on July 23, during the San Carlos City’s 62nd Charter Day Festival of Football at San Julio Football field in a day long sunny Saturday together with ever supportive family and friends.
Later on bowing to Sta. Ana FC-San Carlos in a 1-0 score line during the quarterfinals, the team is composed of Shanndrey Van Ereje, Renee Gavriel Animathea Lomugdang, Patrick Rafael Ocampo, Hoaquin Mikael Ortega, Chlyde Miraflores, Mel Ythan Sun, Michael Richard Mantile, Jaime Miguel Diopol, Daniel Joseph Hinlo, and V Reboton.
Meanwhile, the Born 2015 Little Baby Stingers braved the challenge whilst undermanned in their matches against United Kickers-San Carlos, Classico De San Carlos, and Pontevedra FC.
Leading their charge was lone goal scorer Pocholo Ezekiel Lorilla, gamely supported by teammates Hilary Misha Ortega, Aiden Shawn Treyes and Atarah Maria Lorilla.
In the Born 2013 category, a 2-1-1 standing almost landed the Baby Stingers a quarterfinals slot, if not for a goal difference 7 to 10 with the 2nd best team.
