Bacolod Arts, Culture and Heritage Inc. (BACHI) proudly joined the 30th Panaad sa Negros Festival, presenting a dynamic art exhibition at Balay Kalamay, the Negros Occidental Provincial Pavilion, in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Technology and Livelihood Development Center (TLDC).

Entitled “Panaad sang Taliambong”, the exhibition highlighted the creativity and innovation of 30 local artists from BACHInc. Creatives, the organization’s art sector. Curated by President Sandy Solinap, the show celebrated the rich cultural heritage and artistic talent of Negros.

Among the featured artists were visual artist and entrepreneur Svet Sevilleno and Ramon delos Santos, a seasoned clay artist and sculptor, whose dioramas depicted iconic scenes from the sugar industry.

During the opening reception at Balay Kalamay, Sandy Solinap presented charcoal portraits to Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson and Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz II, recognizing their leadership in the successful staging of the 30th Panaad Festival. The portraits were the work of BACHI VP, Kyle Jocson.

This year’s exhibit reaffirmed BACHI’s commitment to fostering innovation, supporting local industries and celebrating the creativity of Negros artists.

The Panaad Festival is Negros Occidental’s premier cultural celebration, often called the “Festival of Festivals.” It brings together all 13 cities and 19 municipalities of the province to showcase their unique traditions, products and artistry.*
