The Bacolod City Water District has again extended the deadline for the payment of bills and arrears until the end of September.

In an advisory dated July 27, Baciwa general manager Juliana Carbon said that, by virtue of Board Resolution No. 103, series of 2020, payment of arrears as of February 2020, and water billings for March, April and May, is extended until September 30 this year.

The Baciwa and all collecting agents will accept full or partial payments, even with arrears, she added.

Billings starting June that remain unpaid after the due date will be subjected to disconnection starting August 16, she said.

Earlier, the Central Negros Electric Cooperative also suspended its disconnection until August 31.*
