The 2025 SLETBA Open Bowling Championships held at the Santa Lucia Bowling Complex, Cainta, Metro Manila, continues to showcase outstanding performances from top-caliber bowlers across various divisions, with thrilling finishes and strong showings from both seasoned competitors and rising youth players.
In the Classified Masters Division, STAI-BMBC campaigner Eric Buyco delivered a solid run, securing second runner-up honors after an impressive climb in the finals. He was closely followed by 11-year-old STAI youth standout Lyle Rosales, who turned heads as the youngest qualifier in the division and finished commendably among the top contenders.
The Ladies Classified Masters event featured another strong performance from STAI’s ranks, with Rheylene Panganiban capturing third place overall in a competitive field.
The Youth Division produced one of the tournament’s most exciting finishes, as STAI’s Ice Villarosa claimed the championship with a thrilling final-game surge. Villarosa also distinguished himself earlier in the tournament by capturing the highest qualifying award, reinforcing his status as one of the brightest young bowlers of the event. Lyle Rosales continued to be STAI youth wonderboy at the young age of 11 to again win the third place award, alongside champion Ice Villarosa.
In the Senior Division, STAI’s veteran campaigner Leo Kelly bagged the two special prizes as top qualifier for the regular and associate division.
