Twenty-two component cities and municipalities in Negros Occidental will remain under Alert Level 2 from June 16 to 30.
On the other hand, highly-urbanized Bacolod City remains under Alert Level 1, along with Cadiz City, EB Magalona, Candoni, Pontevedra, Pulupandan and San Enrique, as well as the cities of La Carlota, Sagay, and Victorias, according to a report by Malacañang.
Under Alert Level 1, the Inter Agency Task said there are no restrictions in terms of indoor and outdoor capacities. Everyone can undertake intrazonal and interzonal travel without regard to age and even comorbidities.
All establishments, persons, or activities are likewise allowed to operate, work, or be undertaken at total on-site or venue seating capacity, provided these are consistent with minimum public health standards.
Also placed under Alert Level 1 in Negros Oriental are Amlan, Bacong, Dauin, Dumaguete City, Valencia and Zamboanguita.
Aklan, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, and Iloilo City are still under Alert Level 1, acting presidential spokesperson Martin Andanar said in a statement.
The Department of Health-Western Visayas reported yesterday that Negros Occidental has three additional COVID-19 cases, bringing to 119 the total active cases as of June 15.
On the other hand, COVID-19 cases in Bacolod City remain at 73.*
