With the theme “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation,” activities were staged across two major venues: Ayala Malls Capitol Central and The Upper East, Megaworld, showcasing the vibrancy and collaborative spirit of Bacolod’s tourism sector.

The activity was joined by members of the local media, the Bacolod City Tourism Office team, Bacolod City Communications Office and representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection, who explored Bacolod’s historic and cultural landmarks to deepen appreciation of the city’s heritage.

The celebration concluded with an awarding ceremony, where all participating schools, barangays, and stakeholders were recognized, with special awards given to those who excelled in the different competitions.

“Tourism Week 2025 is a true testament to what we can achieve when government, private sector, schools, and communities come together for one cause. This year’s theme, Tourism and Sustainable Transformation, goes beyond celebration-it reflects our commitment to promote responsible, inclusive, and forward-looking tourism for Bacolod City,” said Ma. Teresa Manalili, Chief Tourism Operations Officer.

The successful implementation of the week-long program was made possible not only through partnerships with schools, barangays, hotels, and the private sector but also through the dedicated facilitation of the Bacolod City Tourism Office team.*
