Bacolod councilor elected PCL chair for Visayas

Bacolod City Councilor Em Legaspi Ang has been elected as the new Chairman for Visayas of the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) on March 3, during elections held at the Hilton Hotel in Pasay City.

The election marks a milestone for Ang and the city of Bacolod, highlighting the trust and confidence of the Visayas councilors in her leadership capabilities. As the newly elected chairman, Ang said that she vows to bring innovative leadership and collaborative efforts to strengthen local governance across the Visayas region.

Also elected together with Ang are Councilor JP Peñol of Iloilo province as Visayas president; Councilor Winston Pepito of Cebu City as secretary-general; Councilor Chiqui Ruth Uy of Palo, Leyte as treasurer; Councilor Racel Renz Bamo of San Rafael, Iloilo as auditor; and Councilor Willou Tan of Loon, Bohol as public relations officer.
