The cases of dengue in Bacolod City are trending lower, compared to cases recorded during the month of June last year.
Records from the City Health Office, covering the period of January 1 to June 15, showed a decrease in dengue cases by 19.7 percent, compared to the same period last year, which had 213 recorded cases and two deaths.
The CHO recorded a total of 165 cases this month, with no deaths, compared to the same period last year.
The barangays with the highest number of cases are Taculing with 31 cases, Mansilingan – 12, Banago – 11, Estefania, Cabug and Tangub – 9 cases each, Alijis – 8, and Vista Alegre, Handumanan, and Granada with seven cases each.*
