Secretary to the Mayor Edward Joseph Cuansing now sits as the City Administrator of Bacolod City after his appointment was concurred in by the Sangguniang Panlungsod during its regular session Wednesday.
Cuansing was appointed by Mayor Evelio Leonardia as City Administrator effective October 13 after Em Ang filed her certificate of candidacy as councilor of Bacolod City under Grupo Progreso.
Ma. Victoria Parreño was appointed by the mayor as acting Secretary to the Mayor on concurrent capacity as she also heads the Bacolod Housing Authority.
Meanwhile, Ang is also executive director of the Emergency Operations Center-Task Force (EOC-TF) and at the same time the coordinator of the COVID-19 Vaccination Council (CoVaC).*
