The Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. (SSFI) brought early Christmas to 45 children in Bacolod City with its annual ‘Christmas in November’ shopping spree at SM City Bacolod.
SSFI Acting President Ciara Anna Sotto, who represented her mother Helen Gamboa (wife of current Senate President Vicente Sotto III), led the first-ever edition of the event in Bacolod City.
“It’s the yearly tradition of the SSFI. Our goal is to help and bring happiness to children, especially this Christmas,” Sotto said.
Each child, with ages 5 to 15, received P6,000 worth of SM gift certificates.
Their platform Senate Assist also gathered 102 beneficiaries to receive their guaranteed letter to avail of medical and social assistance.
The SSFI is a non-profit organization composed of the spouses of the country’s senators.*
