Acting Bacolod Mayor El Cid Familiaran will lead other city officials in welcoming the new year during the New Year Countdown at the Bacolod City Government Center grounds on December 31.
Dubbed “High Five to 2025,” this year’s New Year Countdown will celebrate Bacolod’s achievements over the past year and set the stage for even greater milestones ahead. The event promises a thrilling night with raffle, games, entertainment, and fireworks display to light up the City of Smiles.
An acoustic band is scheduled to perform from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. to be followed by a pre-show from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., while a comedian is set to entertain the audience from 10 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
The raffle for minor prizes will be drawn at about 11:30 p.m., while the grand raffle draw will be held at 12:15 a.m. after a fireworks display at 12 midnight.*
