The Bacolod City government has formally launched the early processing for the renewal of business and mayor’s permits for the upcoming 2026 calendar year.
The primary objective of the accelerated timeline is to prepare for the annual Business One-Stop Shop operations.
It also aims to prevent the typical congestion and processing delays that business owners experience during the peak renewal period in January.
Mayor Greg Gasataya mandated all involved offices to immediately designate personnel and implement the necessary measures to begin accommodating applicants this week.
The offices instructed to participate in this early processing include the City Treasurer’s Office, the Business Permits and Licensing Office, the City Planning and Development Office/Zoning, the City Engineer’s Office, the City Health Office, and the Bureau of Fire Protection.
By offering the early processing option, the city aims to streamline compliance for entrepreneurs, ensuring they can secure their 2026 permits ahead of time and maintain uninterrupted business operations.*
