The Bacolod City government has established a dedicated hotline and helpdesk to assist residents with family members and overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) affected by recent military events in the Middle East.
Organized in coordination with the Department of Migrant Workers, the initiative aims to provide necessary support to ensure the well-being of Bacolodnons abroad.
“We received a lot of comments as well as the status and conditions of our fellow OFW Bacolodnons in the Middle East, so far, reports said they are okay,” Mayor Greg Gasataya said.
A helpdesk is now operational at the Bacolod City Government Center lobby to accommodate walk-in inquiries.
Residents with OFW families seeking immediate assistance or information may also contact the city through the mobile hotline at 0930 877 5097.*
