The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) appointed a new Public Information Office (PIO) Chief, PCPT Andro Ma-apni.
Ma-apni is also the new Assistant Chief of City Operations and Management Unit, at the same time and spokesperson of the BCPO.
“I want to continue the legacy of the late Lieutenant Meller Dionio, to deliver updated information to the public and the media,” Ma-apni said.
He replaced the late PIO Dionio who passed away last November 5 due to cardiogenic shock.
“Through the guidance of the City Director, I will try to improve my service as PIO of BCPO for the people of Bacolod City,” he added.
The new PIO chief officially took the office last November 12.*
