Bacolod set for barangay, SK transition

Bacolod Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez issued Memorandum No. 069 Wednesday directing acting City Accountant Jeremae Ann Ceriaco to head the City Assessment and Transition Team (CATT) that would conduct the final assessment/inventory of Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) properties, final records, documents and properties (PFRDs).

Benitez also directed the City Accountant to coordinate and collaborate with the Department of Interior and Local Government City Director and other members of the CATT in the conduct of the following: final inventory and submission of accomplished Barangay and SK Inventory and Turn Over Form No. 2 by the Barangay Inventory Team (BIT) and SK Inventory Team (SKIT) and the conduct of assessment/inventory of CATT within three weeks from proclamation;  as well as conduct final assessment/ inventory of the Barangay and SK PFRDs and money accountabilities.

There shall be a transition period not to exceed three weeks to ensure proper and smooth transition of governance, accountabilities and actual turnover of Barangay and SK PFRDs and money accountabilities, and to secure/comply the bonding requirements and other requisites under existing laws, rules and  regulations, the memorandum added.*
