The Bacolod City government has announced the third and final batch of the Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) payout for Typhoon Tino victims on March 9-12.
The final tranche addresses families who were previously left out or replaced during the initial assessment last December 2025.
A total of 15,199 families are set to receive the financial aid, which is being facilitated through the Department of Social Welfare and Development – Negros Island Region.
Bacolod Department of Social Service and Development head Richelle Verdeprado-Mangga said the distribution includes 102 severely affected families who will receive P10,325 each.
A total of 15,097 slightly affected families will be granted P5,369 each.
Bacolod Mayor Greg Gasataya said that P82 million has been allocated for the payout.
Meanwhile, the city government also released nearly a total of P2 million in financial assistance to 183 families, approximately 595 individuals, affected by the residential fire that hit Barangay 39 on February 27.
Verdeprado-Mangga said they distributed P15,000 to 97 families whose homes were tagged as totally damaged.
Six families, whose homes were partially damaged, also received a payout of P10,000 each, while 35 renters and 45 sharers each received P5,000.*
