The Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod yesterday approved a resolution congratulating Alex Paglumotan for having been elected president of the Palawan Economic Development Council – Brunei Indonesia Malaysia Philippines – East ASEAN Growth Area (PEDC-BIMP-EAGA) for 2023.
Bacolod Councilor Al Victor Espino, who moved for the passage of the resolution, said Paglumotan was former councilor of Bacolod City. The position of PEDC-BIMP-EAGA president has a term limit of two years.
Paglumotan had served as chairman of the Board of PEDC-BIMP-EAGA for two years before he was elected as president.*
