A resolution congratulating Bacolodnon Bernalyn Bejoy for winning a bronze medal in the women’s 800-meter run at the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) at the Suphachalasai National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, was approved by the Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod on Monday.
Authored by Councilor Jason Isidro Villarosa, the resolution said the 33rd Southeast Asian Games was held at Suphachalasai National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on December 9 to 20.
Bernalyn Bejoy, a Bacolodnon who passionately hones her skills in track and field in the city, placed third in the women’s 800 meter run, and won a bronze medal, it said.
The City of Bacolod is proud that Bejoy’s success will again remind the rest of the Bacolodnon athletes to wholeheartedly commit and dedicate themselves to their passion and reach their dreams, the resolution said.*
